The young lady I talked to was very sociable, extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She showed me around and talked about various pieces of furniture that I might be interested in and she talked to my boyfriend about the recliners he was drawn to and she didn't crowd or hover us at all like a lot of sales people do! didn't find anything that I liked though, the furniture that they had I store were very cheap, I was feeling the backs to the couches and they all felt almost completely hollow. They are priced to high for what they are, but even the worst quality furniture is going to cost you. The beds and frames looked a bit better than the couches, sofas and love seats. It's a perfect place to get furniture for a college student, temporary living or someone who is content with cheaper quality but I need quite a bit more. I can see how it is good for some people but it wasn't for me.
Went there and they were just completely rude, there weren't gonna get my bossiness that way .
Do NOT buy from them. Only putting 5 stars so people we'll see this. I bought a entire bed set from them and when I got home it was BROKEN with missing pieces. And they won't take it back because we've "had it for too long" it hasn't even been a month. And it's not our fault they decided to leave broken/missing pieces out. Stay away. I will be calling their district manager to see what they say.
My boyfriend and I got a new apartment in May, but we decided to go furniture shopping in February. We saw that American Freight had reasonably priced furniture, plus a layaway that would allow us to make payments up until our move-in day. The week before we moved in, we made our last payment (5/6/16). We moved in on Monday, 5/16/16 and had our things delivered to us. We were notified at the time of our last payment that they didn't have the rails and supporting slats to our bed set but were expecting them soon. It has been a month! Still nothing! I called last Thursday (6/2/16) to inquire about my missing items, the lady that answered the phone said she was checking on it and would get back to me, here it is Tuesday (6/7/16) and I've heard nothing from them. This has been a very unpleasant experience. I will not be doing business with them any further. My suggestion is to find another place to take your business, or at least check if they have your items in stock before dishing over your money.
My boyfriend and I bought a love seat and sofa set from here. Once we got them home yesterday we realized they weren't even the same color. Took the love seat back today and got what was supposed to be the right one, but they are still different colors! I wouldn't waste your time or money here.
