The restaurant has a strange smell to it and over 90% of the items on the buffet are exactly the same no matter how long you wait to go back to the restaurant to eat.
I had a horrible time there. I got a baked potato and next to it was supposed to be butter and sour cream. It was whipped cream. I told the waitress that whipped cream was by the potatoes and that it was misleading. She said it's sour cream and that she tasted it and thought it had went bad, but did nothing to change it and shrugged me away. The waitress was also rude and cocky. I wouldn't go there for anything now. My advice - go to the outback across the street.
Just another day a golden corral. Salad bar always good. New smokehouse items are not bad either
You are paying for the ability to eat as much "eh" food as you want. Sometimes that trumps spending the same amount of money for one plate of something that is very good.
Food wasn't good the food wasn't fresh and the service wasn't good like it use to be. I feel like I just waisted $45. Not pleased at all and will not return to the Terre Haute location again
First time eating at a Golden Corral in a while. I remember it as being pretty good. Not sure what's happened. Oh wait! Yes I am. The food is down right horrible. As usual at a buffet, i take small sample of everything to see what's good. So did my bf. Trust me. NOTHING was good. I looked around to see if anyone else looked as though they were going to hurl all i saw was people going back for more, and so I wondered if they all had iron stomachs. Luckily, the buffet had rolls, but not sure I ate $12 worth of them. The boyfriend and I left with a bad taste in our mouth, literally. I think I saw him lick the wall just to get the taste off his tongue. Here it is 24 hours later and I can still taste it. How can you screw up so many different kinds of foods all at once? One more bad restaurant in Terre Haute to put on our DO NOT EAT list.
