Food was great, but there was poor customer service. The waitress asked for our drink order without giving us a chance to sit down. When we stated we were ready to order, she made us wait an additional 15 - 20 minutes (I believe she did this because we were Black). When one of us tried to get her attention during the beginning of eating our meal, she ignored us. Her manager noticed and directed her to our table.... Additionally, the restaurant was dirty. There was food remnants on the table, seats, and floor (it was morning hours around 11am).
Our food took awhile (for Denny's) but our waitress was nice and kept us informed on when our food would arrive.
Food didn't come out in a timely manner nor did all orders come out at once. We saw 2 cockroaches at our booth, one meal had a hair in it!!!
The restaurant has a nice, warm vibe to it. Relatively clean, and surprisingly comfortable! The food is fantastic, especially the hash browns. Everything was just right, and very filling given the small price. The waitress we had appeared to be new, so I can’t give a fair assessment on the service. It was an overall positive experience, and we left full.
I enjoyed the hot chocolate but my sandwich had tomatoes that had the top core on them. When I asked for new ones, I got the same thing! In my fruit cup the raspberries were soft (old) & the apple slices smelled moldy. I guess I should stick with their breakfast menu.
