Positively the best hotel I've stayed at. Great hospitality, wonderful management, close to the Wabash River landing, and the historic downtown, competitive in pricing.
It was a very busy weekend and this was all we could find after having quite a day and driving through some nasty traffic. Wish I had kept on going. Someone should close this place up. I would not suggest this place to anyone. Apparently all they do is pickup dirty towels, change the nasty stained sheets and say the room is ready. PLEASE DO NOT stay here and do not take your animals here. I have felt like I got the creepy crawlies since I left this place..
Don't even bother with this place DRUGS LOUD MUSIC RUDE OWNER SHE TREATS U LIKE DIRT AND DONT EVEN CARE WHAT U HAVE TO SAY WORST PLACE TO STAY CANT USE THE BATHROOM SINK CUZ THE PIPE NEEDS FIXED DONT TRUST THE maintenance GUY HE WILL STEAL FROM U
DO NOT EVEN STOP HERE! NASTY! Very noisy all night long. On the quick once over I thought we could make it work but once checked in the first room smelled so bad I could not walk through the door. Checked 2nd room for bed bugs and saw no signs but wish I had not stayed. Bed was so worn out that you rolled to center and felt trapped. (The savings from staying in this dump will be lost in Chiropractor visits.) Anthony from Hotel Impossible would have just left and advised them told them to tear down and begin again. Sure wish I had checked the reviews but was having trouble getting online with phone.
The room was clean , and very comfortable.its easy to see and find when traveling.
Truly is a roach motel would not recommend it to my worse enemy's . Drugs loud music and the staff rip you off !!!! Would give it no stars but that wasn't an option
Linens were so badly stained was not sure I wanted to lie on them. ( I WOULD NOT HAVE USED THESE STAINED SHEETS FOR MY ANIMALS. Took bedspread off immediately and stacked to side. Lights worked intermittently, big hole in bathroom wall around tub faucets, large grid in ceiling was being held up by a rope, mirror was broken, towels were so thin you could not have dried an ant with them and toilet paper was cheaper than anything I have seen. I would never walk on their carpets barefoot. This room was better after I left. I checked for bed bugs, did not actually see any or the signs, but sprayed around the mattress and box springs with Thieves essential oil, Plague Defense and Citrus Defense. Sprayed linens (could not hurt them) and sprayed carpet. One lamp would only work if you hit the door hard (can you say fire hazard?)
