This place is wonderful. Small hiking trails and a small Native American Musuem and a nature center. Certainly the jewell of Terre Haute parks
Park is clean. Staff is friendly. The little nature center has got a nice observation area behind one way glass. That makes for some nice sitting and watching the birds and squirrels at the feeders. The Indian center is a little lacking. Doesnt seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. They try to educate about Native Americans of different regions but it just is random order, random facts.
Great trails and pan fish fishing. The is a huge bass that is great at not getting caught.
We had a birthday party there. Wonderful place except for the goose poop everywhere.
A great stop for families with young children to view local wildlife feeding, as well as hands-on activities. Numerous small local creatures available to view, in their natural setting.
