This place gave me a scare of a life time, and would not recommend them to anyone unless you absolutely have no choice!!
My great Dane attacked my parents 15 year old Maltese. The staff was very nice and understanding. The vet was incredibly nice. They took great care of Ozzy and helped reassure me. They didn't judge me or make me feel worse about the attack . The attack was very traumatic for me as I was in the middle. I appreciate the quick treatment and excellent care!!
So thankful they were open on a Sunday afternoon on the holiday weekend. Excellent service and good experience. Staff very friendly and Dr very nice
I'm very happy that there is a Vet Clinic open in the evenings for emergencies, but please at least get your facts straight. I was balling when I went int their the other night. My pitbull 7week old pup got bit in the face, and the Vet told me basically that there was very little hope for her to live. He said her brain was injured bad and she might not ever be able to eat or drink again, and I may have to put her down. And that she may not even make it through the night. And we got charged an arm and a leg for one pain killer!!!
Pricey but it's emergent and off hours
The nurses are very kind but the vet? Rude. Let me start off with why she needs to choose a different occupation; I had a puppy about two years ago and he was sneezing and coughing I took him there out of fear of Parvo and she claimed it was nothing. Following day I took him to Browns vet and guess what he did have parvo and since it wasn't caught in time, thanks to the vet here, there was no chance for him to make it. Next would be what just happened. I have a one year old German Shepherd and she just got fixed. Following her getting fixed at my vet she started having a red puss discharge out of fear and no vets being opened I took her to the emergency vet only for the same vet to be there. She cleaned her wound with peroxide which is exactly what you SHOULDN'T do and told me to do this daily. I was uneasy as she cleaned it and one of the nurses told me I could step out only for the vet to snark at her and told me I needed to stay and watch. This was not okay and our pets are family. She needs to learn to respect the nurses and concerned customers and do her research because it is not okay to clean incisions with peroxide. As the only choice in this town for emergency vet issues it would be nice if the vet here took better care of patients and did her research. Be weary when entering because it does not always go well.
So we took her home, she started drinking that night and she still seemed bad off, but not as bad as that first day. So the next morning we took her to airport vet on Wabash, and they told me she'll be okay, and it's not life threatening.. and she did have a skull fracture and a blood clot in her eye. But he actually gave me pain meds to take him and some other stuff for her, and she's doing amazing && she's playing, eating and drinking.
