Im pretty sure the pool was never open this summer, there is no gym or tanning beds regardless of what the website says. The office is no longer located on the premises. That being said, its a quite area. Lots of room to walk my dog. My fridge wasnt working properly, but the maintenance man came out within an hour of calling him and replaced it for me. I think they could have done a better job of cleaning before I moved in. The air conditoner vent REALLY needed replaced. All in all, its pretty much like any other apartment complex Ive lived in.

This apartment has been a thorn in my butt since moving in. They don't open the pool until they feel like it during the summer, even though they gladly take your full rent without providing the luxuries you pay for. We are expecting our first child and going to give birth around the time our lease is up and insted of being able to get out of our lease and just lose the security deposit we also have to pay the remainder of our lease. Many other people say that they do not get their security deposit back even if the apartment is in good shape. Don't think you will get the whole deposit back anyways because they automatically keep a $75 cleaning fee from the deposit, so you will not be seeing that money again. They expect you to give them money to use anything whenever rent is already so high. Plus, let me let everyone that is moving into the apartments, Garden Quarter says you have to pay them $50 a month for cable. Time Warner cable will turn on the cable for free because Garden Quarter pays for everyone anyways, and then tries to over charge their tendants. Time Warner does not like that, so if you get internet through them they will just turn it on for you to use. Basically DONT GO HERE! They are aweful at keeping up with the apartments, my ceiling has been leaking almost a month, but they have not fixed it even though we have complained.. this is only going to cause them problems with mold in the future, that i would imagine they are going to try and turn around on us. So just stay away from garden quarter, and for those of you that don't listen.. see for yourself!

This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The place is in terrible condition and is not kept up with well at all. When we first moved in, one of the closets in my bedroom smelled like cat urine. It wasn't even clean. I actually got sick living in a moldy lower apartment that was once flooded out by that terrible ongoing rain storm in 2008. We actually had to clean out the disgusting air vents in our apartment and found a pile of dirt, old dried up worms, and..who knows what else. We were breathing in dirt practically!! If you ever have any problems in your apartment living here don't count on maintenence to come and fix it right away. They will forget about you until you bug them. And if you are allergic to mold like I am I suggest you most definately do NOT move here. I suggest you dont move here anyways. The pool is kinda gross in the summer too. The owners and manager are more concerned about the people in cobblestone than the people in garden quarter. I myself live in cobblestone now after placing a mold test that came back black, white, and ultra moldy. They let us move out without breaking a lease after we told them about my allergy to the nasty mold. Mold isn't good for anyone! And I don't think garden quarter is either.

This place is horrible! Our air conditioning quit working so they sent someone out to fix it..that alone took 2 weeks and we lived in a upstairs apartment. We kept calling and calling and got the run around. Finally when the guy came out he told me it was working and that it takes a long time to cool down the apt due to it having to cool furniture, walls, etc. So I figured it was fixed. I figured wrong! It was 85 degrees in our apt 2 weeks later...the air never was fixed so we called them out again..took another two weeks almost until I got down right crappy with them and come to find out. Our whole unit was frozen inside and wouldn't kick on! To top it all off when my husband found out he was deploying to Korea, we notified the apt and terminated our lease. They were good with that but we paid the rent at the first of the month on the last month we were going to be there but had already had stuff being moved out. We came back on day, on approx. the 10th of that month and a guy came running out of another building asking us if we lived at that apt. We said yes and he said he had been in our apt and that the apt complex already had our apt rented out to someone else and was cleaning it and getting ready to put the rest of our stuff in storage. He even named exactly what was left in our apt! My husband was FURIOUS! How can they rent out our apt when we paid our rent in full until the end of the month...we still had stuff in there even though we weren't staying there. They are so shady and not worth the steap rent. There are much better apts or houses for that price! They are not proffessional and on top of that have poor customer service. They are not what they seem so beware!
