Amerestore's performance was an absolute nightmare! What was already a stressful situation turned out to be a nightmare. They created more of a mess by throwing everything (sopping wet items) in bags and throwing them in stacked pile after pile. We did not discover some items until 2 weeks later and the items were obviously ruined. They piled the bags on top of lamps and decorative items, breaking and destroying them. They stated everything would be "back to normal" in approximately 2-2 1/2 weeks and it was more like 1 1/2 MONTHS and we are STILL finding things ruined. Also, they wouldn't show up for over a week and would maybe send 1 guy. Also, we could not settle with our insurance company because they would not return calls and actually LIED about having submitted the bill. Our insurance adjuster said they were the first company he has dealt with that he had to hound them in order to be able to pay a claim! Floods are devastating and if you don't want added destruction and stress, DO NOT use Amerestore...fly by night and unprofessionalism at its best!
I just wanted to thank the guys from Amerestore Restoration. We had a kitchen fire about 3 weeks ago. Their was lots of damage from the smoke, and water that was used to put the fire out. These guys were out here the same day getting everything cleaned up. They now have my house back in order and nothing smells like smoke and all the damage has been repaired. I must say, I was very impressed with the work they did. I hope I never need this type of service again, but if I do. I will be calling Amerestore. Thanks again, Larry
