I am a usual store customer at American Eagle. The other day i went into the store bought some apparel and i was done. Later that day i was at work, an associate from American Eagle came up to me and said that her manager wanted my phone number. So on a short break i went back to American Eagle and the manager was a guy. I said to him "Are you gay?" he said "yes" so i responded "i'm not gay thanks though". First of all that is super unprofessional, to get your co workers to come to someone else's work and get their phone number. To even ask a customer for their phone number is unprofessional. Then 2nd off i felt very disturbed, you can't do that as a manager because that is unprofessional. Despite that i am very right winged and very anti-lgbt, it is still unprofessional even if your a manager, store manager, associate, whatever! If the customer asks you then you can respond respectively however you choose. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else, because i know this won't happen to me anymore because they just lost a customer.
