I'm actually quite suprised with all the one star reviews! Both office and over the phone customer service has been wonderful. Ive had to reset my box twice, however the first time over the phone was great! Very helpful! They also hooked me up with a deal and helped me with my transfer fees when i moved! So far im impressed! Friendly installers as well.
The thing that is annoying, in general, with Spectrum service specifically is the Guide User Interface..it could be better lol..
Hello - Spectrum - Are you listening??? Things have gotten worse. Now have to wait for Program Descriptions to load any time of day. Same old, tired movies. This is a good example why huge companies are a bad idea.
I do like this Spectrum-- the employees are nice and give you the time you deserve without rushing through the process.
I just sent my nephew in to pick up a new modem because our internet has not been working for a few days... so I called spectrum last night to see what was going on, (I haven't been home and on internet to know it was out) so I speak to customer service and they inform me it's NOT a payment problem!! It's not an outage problem etc... there is something wrong with the modem.. this will be the second modem I've had to replace in a year!!! so I send my nephew in to exchange the modems because I am at work all day... well the lady tells him she can't swap out the modem unless he pays the balance of 40.00 some dollars... smh... that's not a problem, I don't have a problem paying my bills but your telling me I can't use my internet and you aren't going to give him our modem because you want to collect 40.00 some dollars??? no, very rude lady named Jessica I spoke to on the phone.. she let me know she COULD totally disconnect my service INSTEAD of noting on my account that I shouldn't be charged for these days I haven't used internet because of my modem.. so this is a problem on their end and I'm still being charged for internet and I can't use it... VERY DISAPPOINTED and THINKING of taking my business else where... JESSICA was very rude on the phone and I would not want her working for me!!!! Thanks spectrum for telling me it was your fault and then I send my nephew to exchange the problem and another problem occurs while I can't be there... NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER
Awful! Buyer beware!!! I just wanted internet, but the sales rep coaxed me to try TV in a package deal and that I could cancel at anytime. I tried it for a week, didn't like it, but when I went to cancel they raised the rates for just the internet. They were trying to get me to keep the TV because it was only $xx.xx more a month (not what I was quoted). What a joke. Just get DSL if you are in Terre Haute.
When is this area going to upgrade to Digital? We really have sub-standard service. The TV guide function is the worst. Multiple times a day it has to "Change the Day". Whatever that means - so you wait. Sometimes it never changes so you have no idea what is on. Poor.
