Born at Union hospital and a lot has changed since then. Building is nicely designed. Staff is friendly
ER WAIT TIMES WE'RE OVER 2 HRS FOR A 10 WEEK OLD BABY THAT HAD BLOOD IN URINE. THEY CAME TO TERRE HAUTE REGIONAL AND GOT RIGHT. THEIR PRIORTY FOR CRITICAL WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF LINE AT UNION HOSPITAL
There is a broad absence of intellectual curiosity here. Most of the staff with which I've interacted may make better factory workers than medical professionals. The building looks awesome though.
Horrible care! Not just once, but every single time! These are peoples lives on the line, but it seems to be like a game to them. I have lost quite a few loved ones due to the carelessness of this place... If you have a headache and need some Ibuprofen or something, this may be the place to go- not for something could become serious, go elsewhere.
The parking lot looks nice but should of been designed to hold more cars not looks. Be sure to check your Bill after your visit. My family was charged for several items that where not used. I had to go back in and talk with the staff to address my problems of over charging me for items that where not used. Union Hospital did end up apologizing to me for the "mistake " in billing. Union Hospital fixed it. But then I ponder and wonder how many people does this happen to that don't even know. Or people that j7st don't want to have drama and walk away. The hospital should be better than this. Also emergency room had a long wait. Had several drug seekers ahead of me. I know this because the nurse told me they are back in hear every few days. Other hospitals in terre haute are going to be much faster and cheaper. With the same work if not better.
