Dr. Glock himself is great however, his office staff is very unprofessional. Rules and missed appointment's seemed to come from nowhere with out being able to provide legitimate documentation. They demand payment's each time you visit before ever providing a statement or receiving and eob. It seems I had the most trouble once I met my out of pocket maximum. I went in for an appointment one last to to schedule my second surgery and I was turned away told I was discharged. No written documentation, no calls, no letters, nothing about appointment cancellation.
I went for a second opinion and he told me that the previous Dr. Screwed my hand up. And my hand won't be the same again so he sent me for 6 months of Pt that he wanted me to do at his office I told him I needed close to my home since I lived over a hour away and he got mad and said I won't get the right care else where. He is all about the money. Then my son got hurt at work and they sent him to Dr. Glock and Dr Flock told him he needed surgery and told us what he was going to do and it would be a 2 hr. Surgery... So my son has the surgery and 4 hours later Dr glock come out and says plan A didn't work so he tried plan b and it didn't work so he just played it by ear. Well two days after surgery my son was in severe pain so took him to ER and one of the rods and 2 pins came through his skin. So hospital called Dr. Flock and he told the hospital it was normal to bandage it back up and make my son come to his office next morning so we did and his nurse said it wasn't normal but Dr. Glock said it was and gave my son antibiotics and told him it was normal to deal with it
I would recommend finding another clinic.
I have been under the care of Dr Glock before and was pleased with the care and treatment that I received from him. He fixed my problem immediately and I haven't had a problem in a couple years. I would rate his treatment and expertise at 4.5 stars except for his office staff. They bring it down to 3 stars. You can decide what your opinion is of them however, in my experience with his office manager and other office personnel , the office is rude and demanding. They definitely need a "customer care" or a "patient care" training seminar.....As much as I like and respect Dr Glock it is not worth it to me to go thru them to get to him! He surely condones their behavior and lack of ability to do their jobs well. They demand insurance information up front and will not even set an appointment unless you "follow their rules". The last time that I saw him, I gave both of my "full coverage" insurance only to be billed because they never billed the second insurance. It took weeks to get it straightened out. My time is valuable also! Now I have three full coverage insurance coverages and I refuse to give them the information up front. First, it ought to be on record, second , they didn't file it properly last time when they did have the information and third "is it all about money or Christian Care as he advertises? I think Americans are too quick to feel they are at the mercy of such behavior and "what you can do for them" rather than what service they can do for you. Don't be fooled by his advertisement on television. If he was as he "advertised", he wouldn't have to advertise.... Word of mouth goes a long way.......
I am forever grateful to Dr.Glock... you and your staff are amazing! ! You fixed my elbow gave me the ability to play with my kids again. I am very happy with the surgery... having been through some bad experiences in the past with other doctors. . I had some pain and discomfort but manageable. You didn't guarantee me anything but hoped for the best. Well we got the BEST 100% mobility back after only 6 weeks !! Thank you again. Keep those girls happy they all are amazing and truly irreplaceable. . Stacey Allen
Dr. Glock has been great. Still one surgery to go and i'm sure he'll do his utmost best for a successful outcome. I actually enjoy going to this office. Everyone is friendlier than they have to be, it's nice to visit such a place where i feel welcome and known! THANK YOU!!!! Carl Dickerson III
