I could not have asked for a finer doctor for my mother or me! He was mom's dr before mine as she had COPD. He acted very concerned and was so kind. I took my mom for an appt and he always asked me how I was and one day I told him, I'm so tired, I get up in morning and 2 hrs later, ready to go back to bed. And I was depressed. He asked me a couple more questions, and told me that I may have sleep apnea, and I wasn't even his patient! Scheduled a sleep study and that's what I had. Got a machine and mask and was finally able to get a good nights sleep.
Talk about a doctor worried more about money then the art of helping people! I understand everyone works to get paid but he wants my $400 deductible upfront, before he can do a sleep study, no outstanding unpaid bill from his office or anything like that. Worst of all, he scheduled me for a sleep study, then had his secretary call and ask for the money upfront, I have a co-pay, they could have billed me so I could have budgeted in $400. When I told the nice billing secretary I could not budget $400 into today's spending, she spoke to Dr. Anand D. Bhuptani who said he needed his $400 before tonight's sleep study which was scheduled earlier this morning in a doctors appointment. Basically, I do not recommend anyone to even his doctors office(Springhill Medical Center) to his PARTNER doctors!!
Dr. Buhptani is a very skilled and caring physician/surgeon. I'm very lucky to have been referred to him. By following his instructions my overall health has so greatly improved. Can't thank him enough!!
