Very dissatisfied with my appointment this morning. I arrived ten minutes before my scheduled appointment, in the rain. Another woman came in after I had checked in and told the receptionist that her uncle, who was a doctor in town, called in a favor and wanted her examined this morning. They took her right back and left me sit. No explanation or apology given. My appointment was originally set for 9:30, I was finally called back at 10:35 and left to sit again for another 35 minutes. I finally left the building after seeing the doctor at 12:10 with two prescriptions that he said himself he wasn't positive what my problem is.and a follow up appointment set for a month away. Needless to say, I will cancel my appointment. I would not recommend anyone go to this doctor.
Very poor customer service! Ordered my glasses without calling to give me a price. Stuck with over priced glasses now. Not to mention they took a full week to get back with me because they couldn't figure out insurance supposed to call back with prices another week later my glasses arrived with no knowledge of price!
I have had excellent experiences at Dr. Farber's office. Been there a few times, never had any complaints. They are very professional and polite. It is a very busy office which makes me believe he and his staff must be one of the best in town.
Very poor experience here including the wrong prescription and the refusal return the unused prescribed contacts (which were purchased from them). If you are wanting contact lenses DO NOT GO HERE as they have no facilities to put in or take out contacts unless you count their bathroom...furthermore you need to bring your own contact case and solution as they have neither of these either. To add insult to injury when I changed eye doctors due to substandard care and service they wanted $50 to transfer my records (which were worthless anyway as the prescription was wrong and the contacts didn't work). This is my experience, I would strongly recommend another eye doctor.
I highly recommend Dr. Farber and the clinic. He is by far the best eye doctor I've ever seen. His staff has always worked with me with my scheduling conflicts. And the office has the best selection of eyewear anywhere.
