Poor quality repairs! Failed to properly repair a broken crank assembly, used original worn parts, which caused subsequent failure and injury. Refused to acknowledge repair was subpar. Said the issue was with the manufacturer and laughed in my face. Will never shop here again.
Went to lunch, and 45 minutes and 20 bucks later, I got my bike back, and the tire was straight as an arrow. I was amazed and relieved. I've done a bit of riding since then and haven't had any issues. The guys at the shop were pleasant to work with, and I would be happy to give them my business again in the future if I happen to be in the area again.
If there is zero star I would give this Store and its owner, just reading his response on here gross me the heck out . Dude the only reason you aren't making money is because of your stupid attitude! Get over yourself and learn how to dress a customer even if the customer is rude , if I were you I would delete ur unprofessional response .
I have bought 2 kids bikes here. One that was in stock and one that had to be ordered in. Both times have had a good experience. It's a small shop with not too many frills, but Dave and Buddy are pleasent and attentive. The bike that we ordered in had to be in by my son's birthday just a few days later. They were able to order it and had it tuned up and ready to ride with in 2 or 3 days!
I was camping at a nearby state park (several hours from home), and really messed up the rear rim on my Specialized mountain bike. One of the spokes was pretty bent, and the tire was rubbing against the frame.
Back in the spring I purchased my first quality bike (meaning not a Wal-Mart throw away) and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed! I was taken care of by his hired help, Buddy, who was extremely knowledgeable and talented in the bike trade. I would most certainly recommend anyone looking to buy a quality bike to visit Fat Bike's. I for one will return for future business!
Upon first inspection, the guys at Fat Bikes were hesitant to fix it because it was in really bad shape. But since I wanted to get as much riding in as possible that week, they suggested they could straighten out enough to do easy-riding until I could get home and get the tire replaced (they were willing to order a similar tire for me, even though they don't deal with Specialized).
